As is now tradition, Squidge provided a short intro to the episode. Whilst both this episode and part 2 are “Goes to the Movies” episodes, they’re also WT Lite ones because of the way that Squidge ran it.

In this first serving of bite-sized banter with a side of game goodness, we catch up with Mo from The Squonk & The Hag Podcast to cover the 1995 live-action movie of Street Fighter: The Ultimate Battle.
In the second part, we cover everything from watching films on speedboats, wholesome inspirational warnings, and Tuesdays.
So without further ado, sit back, grab some snacks, and get ready for this episode entitled "Street Fighter: The Ultimate Battle Championship X Ultra Alpha Super Turbo Turkey Puncher Edition with Mo - Part Two".

The Scenes We Want To Highlight 2: Electric Boogaloo
As Mo went last in the previous part, it was Squidge’s turn to highlight a scene, and he chose… well, you’ll see:
Squidge:It’s towards, I call it, I mean, I normally call it a clusterf*ck, but I’m trying to watch my language, so I’ll call it a flustercluck, right? Towards the end. So the part I’m on about is Captain Sawada, right? He punches a guy and then he walks towards a security expert who has hacked into, tapped into, the security cameras.
And at that point, you’ve got Honda and Zangief fighting each other, which is just basically grabbing each other and throwing each other around. But they are trampling through a model of Bisonopolis, which is funny in itself. But then you’ve got Godzilla/kaiju sounds superimposed on top. And it goes on for like three seconds. You don’t see much of it.
Mo:I mean, if you’re going to be part of Bison’s crew, why not include Godzilla? Is really the question. Bison is a "go big or go home," and Godzilla is as big as you can get.
And before they could move on to any other scenes, Squidge brought up the guy with the machine gun (as mentioned in the previous episode on the movie, which good friend Z-Boi):
Squidge:[Ryu and Ken] walk by a guy who’s just in a towel around his midriff and he’s lovingly holding this gun, grenade launcher, machine gun, whatever the hell it is. And he’s got the butt of it on his leg, and he’s holding it up, and he’s polishing it. What happened to him? Why was he so attached to the gun? Did he make it out okay and does he still have the gun? That’s the most important question I need to ask.
Did he make it out alive with the gun? Is he still polishing the gun? I want a sitcom or a two-part anime special on Netflix about that guy and his machine gun; because that’s the real question. We need to know what happened to him.
And he was referring to the background actor on the left of this image:
The conversation about that guy and the shoe lady… that is, this shoe lady:
naturally evolves into either total madness or a pitch call for the greatest TV show ever. Answers on a postcard, please.
And after that comes a discussion on the scene with, possibly, Raul Julia’s greatest every monologue. What Mo has to say about it is so important that it’s captured here, in it’s entirety, forever:
Mo:So this is when Chun-li and Bison are talking in private. So before we get to the depth of the scene, the quote, all that stuff, I want to take a moment to talk about Bison’s wardrobe.
He has the smoking jacket. He has the cravat. He has, like, everything. He even has a different hat. It is still his military hat. It’s still the same military hat, but it’s a different colour. And he just… Oh, my God. But it’s like Hugh Hefner and a warlord got together and dressed Bison. So, yes. It’s just perfect. And he’s all in deep shades of red. And then he has her dressed in this bright, vivid crimson red. Like, you know, the purest red imaginable
And everything in the room…. so like I look at things a lot of times as a designer as well, because I am. And so much in the room is either neutral or reds, it is all very warm toned. It is all because this is his… it almost feels like a love shack type situation. Like, you know, it’s got his bed.
Squidge:I was gonna say "boudoir".
Mo:So you have the lush bed. You have all of the music, the candles, the wine, the alcohol, all that stuff. And then this conversation happens where she pours her heart out about the travesty of what he did to her. And why she has hunted him down because he brutally murdered her father and her entire village.
And then he looks at her and says, "for you, it was the worst day of your life ever. But for me, it was Tuesday.
And, like, the hilarity of it is great. The delivery is great. And then you actually think about it. And, like, the depth of that thing. "For you, it was the worst day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday." Just, it really, it has like huge resonation into like mental health and stuff like that. Because, you know, they always say like, "you don’t know what other people are going through. You don’t know all that stuff," and it’s like, "yesterday was the worst day of your life, but for me it was just Tuesday."
But it’s like then you think about it and you’re like, "yeah. Except he’s the one who caused the worst day of her life!" he massacred, uh actually he committed genocide, he really did. And it’s like, "oh my God." But he just deadpans this delivery, and that is why Raul Julia is fantastic. He is just… his delivery and his swagger; nd it’s not just like a deadpan straightforward, it’s there’s like a little bit of a pride, a little bit of um superiority to it, and he just has like this whole attitude and it’s like, "oh my God, It’s so good!" And like the look on her face of just, "like what?!"
How Would We Rate It?
We don’t usually rate games or movies, in fact we have never done that. And this was a conscious decision that we made early in the life of the site.
But we needed to figure out a way to tell you all whether we think you should watch this movie or not. Normally we would rely on three ratings across three categories, which are:

- Fling it into a tree (worst)
